Calling Archive
Browse completed calling and release proposals that have reached the Done stage.
The Calling Archive (/leader/callings/archive) is the permanent record of every proposal that has completed the full pipeline. Proposals that are still active appear on the Kanban Board, not here.
What Appears Here
Only proposals that have completed the full pipeline and reached the Done stage are shown. Active proposals (those still moving through the Kanban board) do not appear here.
A proposal moves to the archive automatically when it is advanced to Done from the LCR Update stage on the Manage (Kanban) page.
Filters
All filters are in a collapsible sidebar on the left side of the page. Each section is an expandable accordion. Filters can be combined freely. A Clear Filters button at the bottom of the sidebar resets everything at once.
| Filter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Text input | Filters by the member's first or last name as you type |
| Calling | Text input | Filters by calling title as you type |
| Ward | Select dropdown | Shows only proposals from the selected ward |
| Type | Select dropdown | Filter by Calling (new callings) or Release |
| Completed Date | Date range (start/end) | Shows only proposals completed within the selected date range |
| Expected Release | Date range (start/end) | Shows only callings whose estimated release date falls within the selected range; not applicable to releases |
Archive Table
Matching results appear in a table with the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Member Name | First and last name of the person called or released |
| Calling | The calling title proposed |
| Ward | The ward this proposal belongs to |
| Date Submitted | When the proposal was originally created |
| Date Completed | When the proposal reached the Done stage |
| Est. Release | Estimated future release date (callings only; blank for releases) |
| Type | Calling or Release badge |
Results load in batches of 50. Scroll to the bottom of the list to load the next batch.
Proposal Detail
Click any table row to open the detail dialog for that proposal. The dialog header shows the member's initials, full name, calling, and ward, along with three badges: Archived, a Calling or Release badge, and a Completed badge with the date the proposal reached Done.
Below the header, info cards display the Calling, Ward, and Spouse (if one was recorded).
Timeline
The detail view includes a Timeline section that shows each milestone in the proposal's lifecycle, along with a date and a status badge (Completed, Upcoming, Pending, or N/A) for each step.
For new callings, the timeline steps are:
- Submitted
- SP Approval
- HC Approval
- Interview (includes the interviewer's name if one was assigned)
- Sustaining
- Set Apart
- LCR Update
- Est. Release (a calculated estimate, not a pipeline stage)
For releases, the SP Approval, HC Approval, and Set Apart steps are omitted, and Est. Release is marked N/A.
The estimated release date is calculated automatically from the completion date. Bishop and High Council callings estimate 3 years; all other callings estimate 1 year.
Comments
Any comments recorded on the proposal during the pipeline are displayed in a read-only Comments section below the timeline. New comments cannot be added to a Done proposal.
Editing an Archived Record
Users with the Manage Calling Proposals permission see an Edit Record button in the detail dialog. Clicking it opens an inline edit form with the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Spouse (optional)
- Calling title
- Ward
- Interviewer (callings only — sets or updates the assigned interviewer on record)
Click Save Changes to commit edits or Cancel to discard them.
Editing an archived record corrects the recorded details only. The stage timeline and comments cannot be altered.
Deleting Archived Proposals
There is no way to delete a Done proposal from the portal UI. The archive is a permanent record.
Archived proposals cannot be moved back into the active pipeline. If a new action is needed for a person, submit a new proposal.
